Sachsenmilch Leppersdorf GmbH

The unique arrangement of five dairies at the Leppersdorf location, at the gates of Dresden, is one of the most modern milk-processing companies in Europe and the seat of Sachsenmilch Leppersdorf GmbH. It enables the production of fresh milk products of the Müller and Sachsenmilch brands. Around 1.4 billion liters of milk are processed here every year.

The Sachsenmilch brand enjoys a level of awareness of more than 85 percent in the country of origin. The traditional basic products are the basis for the brand's success. In addition, Sachsenmilch has made a name for itself as a manufacturer of healthy, trendy products. In total there are over 30 different Sachsenmilch products.

Samuelis Baumgarte Art Consulting commissioned Marguerite Hersberger and other artists to design the corridor areas. The Swiss artist Marguerite Hersberger implemented an artistic lighting concept for the central corridor area.

The artist Marguerite Hersberger, born in Basel in 1943, made a name for herself internationally with art in buildings, which she herself describes as "spatial art". By this, the artist understands the dialogue between architecture, art and business.

In this way, art is much more than just decorative accessories in your projects. Her designs show the artist's love for strong color contrasts and geometric shapes in the light and color wall installations.
