Office-Building „Metropolitan" in Düsseldorf

The architecture of the "Metropolitan" sets standards in Düsseldorf by - internally ultra-modern - externally following the tradition of postmodern minimalist architecture. Both through the choice of materials and through the clearly structured structures.

The minimalist structure, which includes all the requirements of the most modern office space, presents itself as a large block-like structure. Over seven equal levels, autonomous office units of different sizes can be optimally accessed.

The "Metropolitan" was built in the immediate vicinity of the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf and is only a few 100 meters from the famous Königsallee. Samuelis Baumgarte Art Consulting has implemented a sophisticated art concept in the interior of the building. The focus of this outstanding premium property is on corporate culture as an expression entrepreneurial identity, the promotion of art as a means of economic development and as a means of communication. The encounter with modern art should provide impulses for cross-border thinking in order to clearly position the "Metropolitan" in Düsseldorf and to incorporate it in the urban planning context.

When entering the main entrance of the building, the viewer already gets an impression of the generosity of the architecture. The materials used in natural colors for the facades and grayish stone for the floor, generous glass surfaces, as well as the clear structure of the light wall surfaces are effectively emphasized by the artistic room-related design of the entrance hall by an installation by Prof. Heinz Mack with a corresponding external effect.

All other artistically designed building areas such as reception / entrance area, conference rooms and the cafeteria in the "Metropolitan" prove that in the synergy of corporate culture, architecture and art through future-oriented commitment, an individual claim at the highest level represents the self-image of the users.
